コットンサテンの裏側を表に使ったバックサテンは、サテン地の光沢が抑えられ、ヨコ糸のでこぼこなムラを感じる独特の風合い。ミリタリーウェアにも使われていたほど丈夫で経年変化も楽しめます。アウターのように羽織れるシャツをつくりたいと、フランスのニーム地方で働く農家の、ワーキングシャツをイメージして少し薄手の生地を織りました。胸のポケットはなんでも入るように大きく、左胸にはペン差しのアクセント。身頃はゆったり、丈は短め、ボトムスやインナーとバランスの取りやすいかたち。男女問わずに着ていただけます。
