LOT.010 US MILITARY HAT
This hat is a New silhouette redesign of the M-38 Hat that was produced for the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1937 to 1941. This gem was created to achieve a balance between roundness and depth.
RAW INDIGO is produced on an old-style power loom, using uneven yarn made of organic cotton for the warp and nep yarn made of American cotton for the weft. The unintentional nep feeling, like cotton waste unintentionally mixed in, expresses the poor techniques of the time.
BLACK is made of organically grown Supima cotton from the U.S. and produced on an old-type power loom. It is finished with a dry texture like old clothes that have been degreased and crumbled by the degreased washer process.
